I Joined the AMA & Registered with the FAA for Two Reasons

Amateur/Hobby/Sport Radio Controlled (RC) and Drone Pilots alike:

With regards to this development (article link listed below), as the Drone Racing Club (DRC) President, I am recommending that all Amatuer/Hobby/Sport RC/Drone Pilots who actively fly for fun or competitively join the AMA first then register with the FAA on or before the February 19th deadline ($5 fee or FREE before midnight Jan.20th, 2016).

FPV Pilots Are The Best!

To All Drone Racing Club (DRC) members and non-members alike:

As the co-founder and President of the Drone Racing Club (DRC) it is my duty to help establish and maintain FPV Close Proximity Drone Racing as a sport and open the world's eyes to the fact that FPV Drone Pilots are among the best pilots in the world (manned or unmanned). Even today's manned or unmanned pilots cannot compare when it comes to speed agility and skill that an advanced FPV pilot can demonstrate. An FPV pilot doesn't rely on GPS or an autopilot to guide him/her. An FPV pilot flies where no manned or unmanned pilot has flown before. They are akin to a bird in flight through a forest.
